The Scokendia Ensemble is an international project bringing together Kenyan, Scottish and Indian musicians and composers. They will perform in a dozen concerts in Glasgow during Festival 2014 as well at the Aberdeen International Youth Festival. This concert will see three world premiere performances.

New Works, the annual groundbreaking new writing collaboration with Playwrights’ Studio, Scotland and the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, returns. Three of Scotland’s top playwrights, Claire Duffy, Jo Clifford, and Isobel Wright, have been commissioned to create new plays, working with the actors and directors of the conservatoire’s world-renowned Masters in Classical and Contemporary Text programme. Two out of three plays are performed each night.
