Inspired by RCS’s proud tradition of trumpet playing, when the opportunity arose to acquire the incredible resources of the Tarr Collection, we couldn’t resist. American Edward Tarr is a pioneer in the revival of Baroque trumpet performance practice, having produced over one hundred editions of music, and singlehandedly bringing many composers into the repertoire.

Godspell

Based on the Gospel according to Matthew, this rock musical is brought to life by an ensemble cast of actor-musicians. A Stephen Schwartz score accompanies dramatised versions of well-known parables, bringing this site specific musical celebration to the heart of Glasgow’s East End.
